I have always wanted to see the Aurora Borealis, but I never could afford to go north where they happen frequently. In May of 2024 they came down far enough and strong enough for me to see them here in Oregon. I had the perfect place to go see them and it was just minutes from my house. It was incredible.
The auroras went strong for about 30 minutes. Best seen through the lens of my camera. And then it was time to go back to the car
My only issue was that my newer tripod lost one leg and I had to hand hold all the shots.
I had planned on posting my photos from the next Aurora show in October of 2024 but realized that it was so huge a file it would need a post of it’s own.
