Signs of Spring?

I have two German Shepherds, which simply means I have to do Poo Patrol every few days. It is a never-ending thing. Yesterday morning my oldest German Shepherd came into the house with one of my poo patrol gloves, the other glove is nowhere to be found. I know that the younger German Shepherd is the glove thief, and that she has probably buried the lost glove somewhere. I decided to do a search of the back yard. I didn’t find the glove, but I did find evidence that spring is trying to come early.

Last week I had done a patrol of that portion of my yard and with the exception of the tulip leaves none of the other plants or flowers were up yet.

I decided that I needed to record the birth of spring in my yard, The troll family followed me they were so excited. They love flowers and had to be convinced that the flowers did not need to be picked

Good thing I did photograph them, because the youngest German Shepherd tromped through those flowers last night or early this morning.

I did get a chance to photograph the iris in the sunlight this morning. the crocus that didn’t get tromped on are waiting for the sun to hit them.
As for the missing glove? It will show up in one of the flowerbeds later this summer… Probably with the missing leather glove I use for moving firewood.
