The sign on this rose says Brown Velvet. I questioned that since these were a very rich red rose. I also wondered if it was marked correctly when I photographed it in 2018. I suspect it has more to do with the mineral content of the soil.
It is what it is. This rose was a bright red and had some fantastic buds getting ready to bloom.
So if anybody knows what this rose might actually be you could let me know
Gorgeous roses, love their color. They lift up to the sky to show their glorious bounty of beauty and scent. Be sure that you all take the time out of your busy lives to stop and smell the roses.
